Dear JONC.nl-readers,

It's been very grieving weeks here in Hong Kong since the tragedy in Sichuan,
please allow all of us to send the love and wishes to the perished and suffered survivors in the magnitude 7.9 quake in Central China. May the perished R.I.P and the bruised be strong and against all odds.

Lots of Respect to the rescuers who have been helping out since the first day, it shows that we are all the same and not classified with different nationalities, and all the medias who have been devoting themselves at sites and delivering us the news. Also much appreciated to those who have been part of rescuing, supporting and fund raising.

Keep your chin up and stay positive, tomorrow will be a better day... Definitely!!!

Hooked up with my mate Cintia on my Day Off before she headed back to Macau for an internship, we wandered about in MongKok for half day, enjoyed food and drink with a lot of chatters, which we really loved because we are both 2nd Oct Girl. Mario & me at Langham Place mall in MongKok

My new job is really challenging I must say, there are something I really hate about at operations wise. I spoke to my close friends and they have all asked me to try and challenge the difficulties, in order to have a better development on my career path.
I am a communication person with words-spoken and written, but the job duties are involved with selling to meet the targets and money stuff, which I really don’t feel comfortable with. So what can I do? Am I really suitable in the Hospitality Industry? Or I might as well look for something in Publishing so that I can keep writing whatever I want, perhaps English poems? (By the way, I have written some...)
But I was just told that this international hotels group enables me to stay in our chain hotels world widely at low cost, I am talking about US$29 – US$59, and so I must fight and work hard for this benefit.

Oh... my Hotel Management exam went pretty well, I kind of had a difficult time memorizing everything I needed to prepare for this exam as I was working early in the morning’s and didn’t have too much time for revision. Thank you for all your supporting messages and I need more luck for the Service Marketing exam which is taking place on next Monday.

At last... I have finally watched the first 2 episodes of ‘Rolling Love’.
I have had a great time watching it and laughing so hard for 4 hours because my favourite Da Dong (Jiro Wang from Fahrenheit) is just too cute and gorgeous in this new drama. http://www.gtv.com.tw/Program/S051420080511U/

** I am thankful for your presence!!**

Groetjes,

Disasters happens. Many people lost family/relatives, friends and belongings. So sad . The casualties could be minimalised if China have held a stricter building code. Heard on the news that some school buildings are like a 'tofu building'.

I've been in Langham Place. It has a huge long escalator . To bad i didn't saw the Super Mario statue. Wish NL had malls like in HK. We don't have those here, as you already have observed, came to NL for the 9th time ( petje af hoor )

US$29 - US$59, that is really a bargain. Very good secondary work benefit, but how many days off/ vacation days in a year do you have to fully utilised it????

If I'm not mistaken, you and Super Mario were standing in front of the Namco store. I remember I got kicked out of that same store for trying to make photos in front of some fake cherry blossom trees. How should I know it was a deadly sin for doing that?

It was indeed very sad news to me as well. My nephew from Kowloon is married to a woman who's
original from Sichuan! I hope that her relatives who are still living in Sichuan are okay. Bye.
