Dear JONC.nl-readers,

I am sorry for such a late update this time because I've been so busy and tired in the past couple of weeks. It's been insanely busy at work, especially during the day time.
My roster says 0700 – 1600, but in fact I've had worked 12 hours each day since Wednesday for 5 consecutive days, yet had an exam for Service Marketing, which I hope I didn't do too bad. So... you can tell how knackered I actually am and how less time I had spent behind the desktop comparing the other days. Not to mention I only had 4 hours of sleep.

It's been raining here everyday, I'd rather have the rain here than in Sichuan as you can read the number of deaths are only increasing, so you know how much rain would affect the rescue and clearance at sites.
Fund Raising Campaigns are all over the place in Hong Kong, and our hotel has this Fund Raising as Donation off the supplement of room upgrading.
Every dollar guests have paid for the supplement to upgrade the type of room and its service, the sum of money will be automatically donated to the InterContinental Hotels Group Fund and China Red Cross. I have done my part today, recommended our guests to get involved with this campaign by paying just additional a few hundred dollars daily and joining the charity at the same time.

Once again, we see a lot of love and support all over the place, no boarder across the sea at all, no politics, no racists... and even no competition between TVB, ATV and Cable TV. Artistes from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and a representative from Korean artistes/singers were all here for this all-for-one Fund Raising today.

"ZhongGuo jia you, SiChuan jia you"

June – Euro 2008
I have been looking forward to it!
Are you all supporting Nederland? Hup Hup Oranje!!
Of course I will support the Netherlands National Team when they play, but I don't hope to see IT vs NL as I am a huge fan of Italy National Team.
Forza Italia... Forza Totti!!!!!!

Study continues next week... Tourism Management is confirmed and will see if I can enroll Facilities Management tomorrow just before the course starts on Wednesday because Catering Management has been cancelled due to unexpected circumstance AGAIN!!!

As you can see I haven't really done much in the past couple of weeks, hence no recent photo this time, but I'd be glad to post one of my photos taken in Holland again. ik met Nijntje in Utrecht – June 2007

Ik mis dit mooie land. Ik wil graag terug naar NL zo snel te gaan.
Kijk!! Mijn Nederlands is niet te goed, ik spreek geen NL maar allen schrijven and lezen.
Niemand in Hong Hong kan me NL leren?? Als heb ik nog de tijd voor les.

Groetjes,
Kamen xxx

I didn't know that you could write some Dutch. Have you ever been thinking about participating meetings
for the Dutch? Did you know that there are about 4,000 Dutch people living in Hong Kong? The Dutch Society in Hong Kong: www.nedverhk.com
