Excuse me for the bad photo taken. I was extremely tired and a bit drunk :P
Dear JONC.nl-readers,

Okay, terug in Engles nu!
I think I went to the pub for a football game for the first game even though I’ve been watching soccer for more than a decade already. I don’t have a pay soccer channel at home anymore because I left Hong Kong last year and thought I wouldn’t come back for a while, anyway... I joined my friend Samuel and his friends at Prince Edward after work! Phew... It was a really dreadful night at work, as I mentioned I worked over time and I knew I was missing Italia at 12 midnight. I was off at 2 in the morning and had to take a taxi at the hotel door because it was raining so hard... I knew it was Black Friday!!

I grabbed my supporting tools once we entered the pub - as the photo shown, I was cheering with a ‘I Love Holland’ scarf, which I bought in NL back in the old days and wearing an Orange top which I bought at MANGO back in a few years ago, too. Well... I actually have a EURO 2000 NL Home Kit but I guess it might be too much and strange since it’s been a really wee long time. And I don't always wear Orange!!

The pub looks really fabulous I must say and there are so many monitors hanging about.

It looked like most of the customers were supporting Nederland as well. My friends and I were discussing along the game and kept saying the Orange squad was really crazy... they were all really motivated and brought us a lot of excitement, and I must add Edwin van der Sar is always my hero. Apart from his ball catching skill, what more can we ask for? His appearance... OMG... why he doesn’t change one bit for a decade?!

By the way, I have seen him once while I was still working at the airport, when he came to Hong Kong with Manchester United for a friendly game. Speaking of Man Utd., I was once a massive fan in early 90's, where David Beckham wasn't even famous yet. My first favourite footie was Lee Sharpe, and then Becks caught my eyes when he appeared on the pitch more for the Red Devils. I admit that I adored him at first sight but I am sure that nobody would doubt his talents as a footballer.
I started going to MongKok stadium for watching Hong Kong First Division in early 2000's. I visited quite often with my girl friend because we both supported the same teams and players back then. We have also found our interests in Italia Serie A as well... that explains how long I have been a big fan of the Azzurri.

Since Hong Kong was a British Colony before 1997, we somehow support English Premier League and England squad more than the other European Champions. And maybe it's because the UK is not participating the tournament, it's obvious that the pubs business here have gone a bit quiet and my male friends aren’t really into watching the matches this year.
So... terug in Nederlands weer
Ik leer mijn Nederland door met mijn Nederlandse/Chineese vrienden op het internet chatten en ik woon in Kowloon.

Okay, het is al 7 uur's morgen hier... ik moet nu slapen, een ook voor jullie...
Slaap lekker!! En wel success aan Nederland **Hup Hup Oranje**

Liefs,
Kamen xxx

Nice Nice... I prefer to watch football @ home though (Or in the stadium).. Pubs are so noisy

@ BIHK: There are a lot HK-females (young ladies, not the C-Lai's) into football (Hey, it's not the US, so it called football )

@Jessy: It's the EC (European Championschips lol)

According to me most HK females are not into soccer. More into fashion. Hahaha. Sometimes I stay with the relatives in West Mong Kok. Not far away from the Long Ho Fong shopping mall.
I normally stay in a NT-village when I'm back in HK. A kind of difficult if you plan to going out till late
    in HK Island.
