Dear JONC.nl-readers,

Hallo, mijn beste vrienden op JONC.nl, hoe gaat het met jullie?
Life's getting into places gradually and thank you for all the support and advice.
Just received my results of Hotel Management & Service Marketing in Tourism and Hotel Industries, I am very pleased with two B’s since it was my first time taking a professional course after I graduated from secondary school which was a decade ago.
I did quite good in Facilities Management last Wednesday, so hopefully I can keep up the good work with Tourism Management on this coming Tuesday, then I can have a proper rest before Event and Catering Management in early September.

How can I not mention about The Olympic Games this year since our Great China is hosting the game in Beijing? To be honest I was not very keen on the games before it started, I didn’t even have the time to watch the Grand Opening on 888. I only had a glance when I was having lunch at work, and I couldn’t agree more that China had been doing so well and I am very touched and proud of them, especially those little girls from the Gymnastics Artistic, they made me realized that the spirit of ‘no pain no gain’ would finally lead them to success and they did brilliant I must say.
Speaking of the amazing games, Michael Phelps is indeed unbelievable; he has certainly created an atmosphere that everyone wants to see how fast he swims inside the ‘Water Cube’ and he keeps making new records, not to mention he wins the eighth Gold. Congratulations!!
Another photo of me riding on Mitsy, to support the Equestrian events in HK

And since Hong Kong is hosting the Equestrian and Paralympic Games, we Hong Kong people become more related and closer to our Home Country’s events.
There’s an exhibition features approximately 60 artifacts from 28 heritage institutes from 14 provinces and autonomous regions at Hong Kong Museum of History (Special Exhibition Gallery). I have even seen a real horse outside the venue when I passed by on the bus. So it’s worth for a glance if you happen to wander about in Tsim Sha Tsui East when you don’t know what more you can do apart from Shopping.

Music & Languages

Do you prefer speaking Cantonese/Mandarin or Dutch/English?
And do you enjoy listening to Canton/Manda Pop or Dutch Radio?

I personally enjoy listening to the Dutch Radio in the car when I was in Holland, you all properly find me insane and strange that I love the Dutch accent even though I don’t really understand what they are saying most of the time. =D
My friends introduced Blof’s music to me some time ago, and I tried to learn the speaking part by listening to their music. I am sure I can speak Dutch fluently some day when I am able to live and work in NL for a while. And yes, I would make a great effort to come to NL legally when I am ready.

I’ve been listening to Vanness Wu’s new album – ‘In Between’ every single day for a couple of months already. Recommendation: Track 1, 2, 3, 9, 12, & 15

I don’t doubt if you boys don’t know who he is, but girls… don’t you agree he is such a hottie and a talented one among the rest of F4? I admire his talents in dancing and music… he is definitely one of the singers that I truly love the music, not the look… but of course he looks cool as well. =D

Anyway, I’d better go for some revision now…
Hope you are all well and enjoying the sun in Holland.

Hey Kamen, thanks for letting me know about your blog, and also thanks for reading mine! Surprising how blogs can get around to such a widespread audience, even though I doubt I can hold a candle to your success! Your blog looks really interesting too, I will definitely keep an eye out for updates! Been thinking about going to Hong Kong now that I'm in the region anyway, so I might just do that sometime later this year Keep up the good work!
